Technical Specifications
Artistic Pavers carries an extensive selection of pavers and coping in various sizes, styles and colors to meet the challenge of any project. We invest heavily in the latest technology to ensure the best quality products and colors. Laboratory test results show our products are durable and you can use our products with confidence in extremes of hot and cold weather. Artistic Pavers are tough, yet beautiful.

50-Cycle Freeze-Thaw Test
Method used to determine resistance to disintegration by freezing and thawing, to aid in judging the soundness when subjected to weathering.
- Results: No measureable weight loss or cracking from the freeze-thaw testing was noted for all seven paver samples tested. The paver samples tested passed the 50-cycle freeze-thaw requirements of ASTM C-67.

The purpose of this testing was to determine the solar reflectance, thermal emittance, solar reflectance index value of Artistic Paver Shellock Pavers.

- Because of color dye and natural raw material inconsistencies, all our products will have color, shade, and texture variations.
- In Shellock® Pavers, natural shells or aggregates are embedded at different distances from the surface of the material and then polished. Therefore, a small percentage of the natural shells or aggregates are expected to come loose from the surface of the tile. This occurrence will diminish over a short span of time and will in no way effect the strength of the product.
- Stonelock® pavers are made and designed to give a more natural look.
- Tumblelock™ pavers are made and designed to give a more distressed look.
- Please expect variations in color and some chipping and non-perfect edges. These details are intended to enhance the appearance of our pavers.
- Due to the process required to manufacture, deliver, unpack, install, and compact, small chipping can be expected.
- Pavers are calibrated to achieve a uniform thickness of approximately 1-5/8". Artistic Paver's products are manufactured in metric sizes and are rounded to the closest size equivalent in English units.
- Coping will be slightly smaller than the above dimensions due to the process required to manufacture them.
- Pavers should be installed from several pallets at a time to maintain the best color consistency.
- Colors on printed material or on our website may vary from the actual paver. Before making a decision, we recommend verifying your selection at your local Artistic Paver retailer.
- Due to the diversity in the natural aggregates used to make our pavers, the differences of aggregates in each plant and other elements beyond our control, the colors seen here may not exactly match the colors of the paver. Before making a decision, we recommend verifying your selection at your local Artistic Paver retailer.
- Sealing the pavers is optional and it will depend on the desired look. Please consult your installer or one of our Sales Representatives for more information.
